Tested with Moodle 1.9.19+ stable

If you have your moodle installation in a subfolder, login into Moodle as an administrator, go to Site Administration -> Server -> Session handling and set Cookie path to /

And Please go to Site Administrarion -> Server -> Session Handling and click on checkbox "Use database for session information".
