Payment Plugin: Checkout.com Apple Pay

Configure the base checkout-com plugin first.

  1. In the Apple Developer account, create or select a merchant ID.

  2. Create the required payment-processing certificate and add the merchant domain.

  3. Create an Apple Pay merchant identity certificate from a certificate signing request.

  4. Import the issued certificate with its private key and export it as a password-protected PKCS#12 (.p12) file.

  5. Convert it to certificate and private-key PEM files:

    openssl pkcs12 -in merchant-identity.p12 -out ApplePay.crt.pem -clcerts -nokeys
    openssl pkcs12 -in merchant-identity.p12 -out ApplePay.key.pem -nocerts

  6. Enter the merchant ID, PEM file paths, and private-key password in the Checkout.com Apple Pay configuration.
