Payment Plugin: Stripe

Fill in three fields on this page with values from the Stripe Dashboard. Before you start, select live mode for a production site, or a sandbox for testing: keys and webhooks from a sandbox do not work in live mode.

1. Publishable Key: open the API keys page and copy the Publishable key (pk_...) from Standard keys.

2. Restricted API Key: open create restricted key for aMember PRO. Stripe preselects Write permission for Charges and Refunds, Customers, Payment Disputes, Payment Intents, Payment Methods, Setup Intents and Checkout Sessions. Click Create key at the bottom of the form and copy the rk_... value right away.

3. Webhook Signing Secret: open add webhook destination, which preselects the events below. Click Continue, choose Webhook endpoint, click Continue again and enter this Endpoint URL:

   https://example.com/amember/payment/stripe/ipn

   Click Create destination, then copy the Signing secret (whsec_...) from the destination page.

Webhook events used by aMember:

• charge.succeeded
• charge.refunded
• charge.pending
• charge.failed
• checkout.session.completed
• radar.early_fraud_warning.created (optional, needed for Refund Transaction on Early Fraud Warning)

Without the webhook signing secret, aMember rejects all notifications from Stripe.
